INFORMATION FOR ORAL
AND INTERACTIVE PRESENTERS

(1)Full paper submission requires speakers ID and password. Please contact with issm_2006@semiconportal.com in case that the speakers can not find their own ID and password.
(2)All abstract written in full paper will be posted on ISSM 2006 program schedule website late August.

1. OFFICIAL LANGUAGE
The official language of ISSM 2006 is English.
The translation service will not be provided.

2. PRESENTATION LENGTH
1) FOR ORAL SESSION AUTHORS
The total presentation length is 20 minutes including 15 minutes for presentation and last 5 minutes for question and answer.

2) FOR INTERACTIVE POSER SESSION AUTHORS
ISSM "Interactive Poster Session" combines the regular poster session with 3-minute presentation to the entire audience on September 26. There will be "NO" Q & A period for the 3-minute talk. The presentation material of the interactive session authors is limited to FOUR slides including one cover sheet at maximum. Two session of 3-minute presentation by authors for interactive/poster session will be held in parallel.

3. Authors' Interview Hours (for Oral Session Speaker)
ISSM 2006 introduces "authors' interview hours for oral sessions. One poster board of size W180cm x H90cm (display space W160cm x H90cm) will be assigned to each speaker. All speakers of oral sessions are requested to post copies of presentation materials on the poster in the conference room at latest right after the presentation finishes. The speakers may want to post materials on the poster at the beginning of the session in which the speaker will make speech. Be ready to stand by your poster board during 20-minute authors' interview hours after 3-4 presentations to enjoy face-to-face dialogue with your collegues among participants at ISSM 2006. The speakers are also requested to take the materials off after the session is over. In order to post 10 slide copies, B4 size(250mm x 353mm, or 9.5 inch x 13.5 inch) would be recommended.
There is a business center at the hotel where you can order for printout. However, please bring hard copy with you.

4. Speaker Briefing
1) Oral Session
All speakers of oral sessions are requested to attend the speaker breakfast briefing from 8:00 am "on the day of the speech". Speaker briefing will be held at on the same floor of the conference.
8:00-9:00 am, September 25 Asuka Room (B1F)
8:00-8:50 am, September 26 Asuka Room (B1F)
8:00-8:50 am, September 27 Tenpyo Room (B1F)

2) Interactive/Poster Session
The interactive/poster speaker briefing is scheduled at the end of lunch hours, 13:10-13:30, September 26 at Century A Room. All speakers are requested to meet near the podium in Century A Room.

5. Presentation Schedule
You may want to check once again your presentation schedule at the ISSM program schedule site at http://www.semiconductorportal.com/issm/2006/Program.cfm
All speakers are requested to keep your presentation time as scheduled.

6. INFORMATION CHANGE
All authors are requested to update the information on the title of presentation, speaker, and contact at the ISSM website with using your ID and password which were informed to you at your submission of abstract. Visit http://www.semiconductorportal.com/issm/2006r/updInfo.cfm

7. FINAL PAPER DUE - August 18, 2006
All papers will be published in black and white, in the Conference Proceedings and on CD-ROM in full color, both of which will be available at the Symposium. Please plan to submit your final paper, formatted to IEEE specifications, by August 18. Each paper must be no longer than four pages (A4 size) and be prepared using Microsoft Word. Please have your paper proofread by several people before you submit it. Click here for a template for formatting your final paper . Once your paper is proofread and all information is correct, please upload your paper at the ISSM website with using your ID and password. Our online submission system for final paper and presentation materials accepts only for the electronic data files up to 2MB each. If your final paper or presentation material size is over 2MB, please compress your file into zip file.

Author Biography - Please include a brief one-paragraph author biography at the end of the paper. This will allow the session chairs to properly introduce you, before you give your presentation.

8. REGISTRATION DUE - August 18, 2006
All speakers must register for the conference before August 18. Further information on registration will be sent to the speakers by mid July and will be put on the ISSM website http://www.issm.jp/.

9. COPY RIGHT FORM DUE - August 18, 2006

10. POWERPOINT PRESENTATION DUE - September 18, 2006 To ensure that all presentations are visually consistent, Click here for a template for formatting your final Presentation. Your presentation must be received by September 18. Once it has been proofread, please upload your presentation material at the ISSM website with using your password and ID same as submission of the paper. For interactive session authors, the presentation material is limited to four slides including one cover sheet at maximum. Our online submission system for final paper and presentation materials accepts only for the electronic data files up to 2MB each. If your final paper or presentation material size is over 2MB, please compress your file into zip file.

12. Speaker Seat Assignment
The speakers on the day are kindly requested to seat on the first two rolls of the tables reserved for the speakers so that the chairmen easily recognize you. After your session finishes, please feel free to move.
